The frozen corn was starchy and awful, not the lovely silky flavor we're used to having in this soup. Lesson learned. We'll just have to wait for corn season to make this again.Sharon GRhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07467317912222026022noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5001200543465214085.post-1464195424771072602007-08-18T21:57:00.000-04:002007-08-18T21:57:00.000-04:00I have a basic Braun stick blender- no attachments...I have a basic Braun stick blender- no attachments came with it- and it's a good 5 years old now. It's been through everything. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a current link to it- they must only sell this set nowadays.

Good to know about the new Braun...Sharon GRhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07467317912222026022noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5001200543465214085.post-7270457699184515822007-08-18T18:19:00.000-04:002007-08-18T18:19:00.000-04:00FYI.. the Braun you have posted here didn't work w...FYI.. the Braun you have posted here didn't work well for us. We had another Braun for almost 15 years (post college, to make eggnog), same type of thing - one base more like a hand mixer, two wisks to plug in, or a chopper, or a stick blender. It died about 10 months ago. We got the one you had the link to for a Christmas present. It died before July 4th. Didn't like to grate hard Italian cheese, and the motor overheated and konked out with a puff of smoke. We finally found the original style we had - now with additional dough hooks - for only about $15 more at Linens 'n Things. Never bought a food processor because we have this multi-tasker!Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02709107288277596634noreply@blogger.com
